Many people suffer from thyroid problems. The thyroid is located in the neck of our body. It looks a lot like butterflies. It produces several hormones. And problems arise when hormones are abnormally produced in the thyroid.

There are usually two types of thyroid problems. Hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. When excess hormone is produced in the thyroid gland, it is called hyperthyroidism. And if not enough hormone is produced it is called hypothyroidism. However, following a domestic practice, you will get relief from this problem.

1) If you are on a diet, eat fruits and vegetables associated with anti-oxidants. Because they help prevent thyroid problems. Also, foods containing vitamin B12 help the thyroid gland to function properly.

2) Thyroid problems may arise even if you are low in iron in daily diet. So put iron in the list of foods. 

3) When our body does not have enothe ugh iodine, thyroid cannot produce hormones. Which leads to hypothyroidism. So eat iodine related foods.

4) Exercise regularly to reduce stress. This reduces thyroid problems. 

5) Yoga expenditure and meditation keep blood flow to the thyroid gland.
